Lyndon graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Economics. Subsequently, he received his post graduate degree in Marketing Management from the Singapore Institute of Management.
Lyndon has over 10 years of management experience in publishing, online marketing and radio broadcasting where he held key positions in areas of advertising, sales and marketing.
Other than being the Chief Representative for Southeast Asia of Virgin Radio International, Lyndon is also the Director of Asian Culture Enterprise Singapore Limited, a newly incorporated NPO under The Old Parliament House.
As the creator of Firefly Night Race, Lyndon strongly believes that an average joe like him can challenge limits as long as there exists endurance, passion, and most importantly, believing in what one is doing - "Love what you do and do what you love".
Patrick graduated with a Masters of Science in Network Communication Management, from the University of Essex and a Business Administration post-graduate diploma from Singapore Institure of Management.
Patrick comes with 20 years of IT experience in networking, database administration, solution architecting, cloud computing, data center setup, CRM and contact center solutioning.
Patrick has worked in multiple organisations that range from Government, consulting, system integratorm, Internet web-commerce startups, end-user environment. He has worked as a Chief Technology Officer in Singapore first local search engine solution, Rednano, before and has held various senior IT positions in diferent organizations.
Edward is an award-winning entrepreneur who founded Arts For Us All (AFUA), which engages youths in arts-based community work, when he was 18, and co founded the Timbre Group at 21.
Believing in building a socially conscious lifestyle group of companies that is profitable yet contributes greatly to its community of stakeholders, Edward developed Timbre Group into a holding company with diversified portfolio of lifestyle brands and subsidiaries that complements one another, providing a holistic range of businesses ranging from food and beverage, music venues, concept agency and promoter, electronic ticketing service, information technology, and provides music education through the Timbre Music Academy, which focuses of imparting live performance music and providing additional work for professional musicians.
Having strong interest in events management, Edward also started the popular festivals – Beerfest Asia and Timbre Rock & Roots.
Caloy is a veteran of the music and radio broadcast industry. He started as Club DJ at 17 yrs old, at 23 he became a rating Morning Show Radio DJ, at 25 was already a Music Program Director, graduated to Station Manager and then eventually worked as Network Creative Director and Voiceover Artist. Caloy is one of Asia’s top voiceover artists and is the signature voice for top brands.
He is passionate about technology and software specifically towards open-source, does audio and video systems integration and is a radio automation whiz.
Caloy is a corporate athlete who is a multiple Ironman 70.3 Finisher. He now funnels all his energies into new media marketing and technology through audioWAV and its expansion to every available application imaginable. His business, marketing, sales, creative and technical skills gained through years in the industry have resulted into audioWAV being established as the leading provider of branded sonic solutions in the Asia-Pacific region.
Fabian is the Director of MediaPlus, a Regional Media Representation firm.
Participating for the second time, Jack, also known as the Joker of the pack, will embark the journey once again with his mascot on his back.
A theater artist and producer by profession and a cycling nut by providence, Jack is an incorporator, member and ex-President of the Firefly Brigade, and a volunteered secretary general to the Philippine Cycling Federation in 2001.
He also co-managed the first Filipino pro-trade team registered with the UCI in 2004. He is currently trying to help the local police bike patrols through training and support generation. Jack is also a bike event/race consultant and organizer currently involved with the biggest local race in the country coming in Sept–Oct 2011: the LBC Ronda Pilipinas.
Gerry is a Senior Geologist by profession. He's a big supporter of Jazz and plays the saxophone, flute, guitar and keyboard for special functions.
A self-professed nature lover, he occasionally goes skin diving and cross country cycling. He bought his first bicycle in 1983 and is an advocate of bike commuting for clean air.
Gerry is the father of Fara Manuel, Firefly Night Race I female participant.
He is passionate about endurance sports, has completed scores of marathons and is also a 5-time Aviva 70.3 Ironman finisher.
With an engineering background in Electronics and BBA in IT, Richard has more than 15 years of experience providing technical customer service with world renowned imaging companies, prior to his current operations director role with an MNC specialising in supply chain delivery.
As the VP for HR and Administration of Audiowav Media, Lanie’s role is a mixture of admin, human resources and personnel. The proportions of each has varied according to audioWAV, her own department and her own background and talents. Lanie has provided excellent leadership and coordination of audioWAV’s resource functions. She has also developed and implemented tons of corporate Human Resource strategy and programs within the group.
A swimmer, runner, long and high jumper, bowler, and ballet dancer since her early years, Lanie has continued her interest and passion for sports and dance until today. She is currently preparing herself to do her first triathlon and hopes to do an Ironman 70.3 soon.
After office hours and during the weekends, the VP transforms into a super mom and wife to her family. Try asking anyone who knows her.
“Amis”, as what he is called by friends, is a dedicated outdoor guy and a lover of outdoor adventure sports. His passion for biking has brought him a long way. He has completed triathlons and raced the Philippines Carrera Habagat and the Sinulog 42k marathon.
Currently, Amis is the manager of Cebu Team for the upcoming Ronda Pilipinas 2011 Tour this September organised by LBC.
A mechanical engineer by profession, Amis has 20 years of experience in construction business and management and is a service provider for giant telecommunication firms GLOBE, SMART and SUN cellular networks in the Phillipines.
Volunteering for the second time, Omar is Firefly's Chief Safety Officer. Other than being a full time husband and father, Omar is also an event and IT consultant. He is heavily involved in sports safety, including motorsports and triathlons. He is also the organiser of Ride of Silence Singapore - a yearly international bicycle ride to commemorate cyclists killed or injured while riding on public roads.
Omar is a self-proclaimed sociable pyschopath who still dreams of having a 6-pack at the age of 38.
